Michael Rishi Forrester is a Georgia-born resident of Atlanta. An avid lover and student of Nature, Michael has studied herbs, health, healing, and energy medicine since 1998. Michael started his formal studies with Reiki in 1998 and obtained his Master certificaiton in 2001. He has a Bachelor's in Natural Health and a Doctorate in Naturopathy from the Clayton College of Natural Health. He has attended the Medicines from the Earth conference since 2001, the American Herbalist's Guild conference since 2003, and too many others to list. He has had apprenticeships with a Naturopathic Consultant, a Primitive Skills teacher, and several Native American teachers for herb lore and native use. He is a registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level and has taught classical yoga/meditation since the beginning of 2004. He is a member in good standing with the International Association of Reiki Pratitioners, the American Herbalists' Guild, and the Yoga Alliance. He is a senior teacher at Kashi Atlanta Urban Yoga Ashram in Atlanta, Georgia and has given public talks for the Georgia Herbalists Guild, the Complimentary Alternative Medical Association (of Georgia) and the Bioneers.
